Anyway, stef and shir and I, we had a HUGE sushi party on sunday! It was wonderful and I absolutely had a great time. We shall do a tom yam party at my place next. Can't wait!

i met alexis and shiyu yesterday, after god-knows-how-long. i finally got my LV wallet from alexis!!! woosh!!

we had a quick dinner and went to watch HAIRSPRAY! ok...i like it. i always loved musicals and broadway plays and stuff. i thought it was rather nice, and my my, zac efron is like...super duper cute! i'm gonna put him on my desktop. and yes, i really did enjoy the movie!

and talking about cute...i just confered a title on this guy i met at work. he's my MAJOR EYE CANDY! he's a Major...and he's an eye candy. hence...Major Eye Candy! hahaha...

u haf the rain to blame for it. i hate to go out on a HEAVY rainy day. plus the increasing muscle aches make me feel like i'm arthritic or have rheumatism or something.

am i going firework fest? i want to...but i dun wanna squeeze with the crowd. if i got tickets, that'll make a whole lotta difference. but nah...i don't wanna use my guan xi to get them. i could put guan xi to better use. so i'll probably watch it from a distance or something such. sianz.

anyway, i have too many activities lined up this weekend that i had to cancel some others already. no cjcband investiture coz i got podcast/concert training/MJ session tonight. no fireworks fest coz i got rock-climbing/another round of ktv-cum-MJ session tomorrow. sunday is slightly better. i only have a movie date.

about yesterday. it was the opening launch of DUSTY, this denim/streetwear brand from HK. met the young boss. apparently, he's like only 30 (looks 20-ish though), and he has the moolah to stretch and the creds to run a business. AND he's not too bad looking either. ha ha ha..."wo dui jin qian mei shen me gai nian" aka "i don't have any concept of money." sorry ah, inside joke. hahahaaaa...

anyway we ended early coz this would be the nth day that i haven't had enough sleep. looks like i won't be getting any until the week ends.

had a captain's ball tournament yesterday. it's my department thingy la. good way to get away from work. woosh!

but now my whole body hurts. back ache, limbs all aching, abdominal aches...i'm in pain!!!

then still went to play 1 round of MJ yesterday...i won $24!

but took cab home...$25.

not enuff sleep. zzz...later got event to do. tired!!

tonight going MOS somemore.

i hope i can survive till the end of the week.

happy, busy nana!

I really am truly happy!

Because I have so many wonderful people around me. Friends, buddies, kakis and all! ALL YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE! I feel deliriously happy! And guess what? It isn't about to be over! WOO!

What an absolutely FULL weekend!

And by FULL, i mean packed to the brim and totally filled in the tummy!

Friday was heavenly coz i had my day off and i slept till my trusty financial planner called me to remind me of our appt. uh-huh...i know, i should start saving, and not just for the bangkok or taiwan or (japan) or (genting) or chalet coming right at the end of the year. i shall make you proud!! hahaha...anyway, i am rather glad that now, i have about 1/3 of what i earn locked up for my retirement via insurance and cpf. it's a long-term thing, so, you kids won't understand. haha (but start young!)

Of course, i met xuan to do our 2-take podcast. we went for a very FULL meal at coffee club at central. yummy! as usual, we played mario-kart at the nice eating place and look absolutely ridiculous dissing each other. who cares la, huh? oh btw, think you all saw my sign liao hor? it's up in my cubicle already. hahaha!

saturday, as usual, go MS to see all my kids. then after that, went to edit out podcast, and then, BBQ time! see previous post for more details. otherwise, see other blogs for more details. too much repitition makes me boring. hee...

sunday morning! back to MS again. man! my weekends are ALWAYS spent at MS. xuan came to meet me, and we had a mini mario kart duel again. too bad joyce can't join us. hahaha...our aim is to look for 10 people to combat with. waahaahaa...then we got a lift from lynette to go bugis. when we got out of her vehicle, both of us slammed the door at the same stroke. then my left elbow kena the front door (i was closing the back door). metal kena bone...is pain one! i think i effectively lost the use of both my arms for a while (slept on my right arm till it was dead). -stare at xuan- k la, it was an accident.

still suan suan de. luckily my bone is strong! wooh!

then we met kerry, evelyn and jasmine for steamboat at TIAN TIAN HUO GUO! wah...favourite man! jasmine "surprised" me with an impromptu interview for her proj. wat sial...eat half-way must talk professional. but we shi li hai de la. -insert evil laughter- anyway, as usual, i started first and was last to finish. AS USUAL! hur hur...

went home to catch the man utd match...blardy waste of time...0-0! bleah! next time better win ok?!?!? hrmph!

anyway, i have my entire following weekend planned out already. oh my god! here's how it goes:

Thurs - MOS night out-cum-fashion event! thanks to xuan!
Fri - Recording of porkcast ep 2, yummy yummy dinner and MJ session!!!
Sat - Rock-climbing; KTV-MJ session at Syl's place with old choir members! i should say, PIONEER choir members. dun like the word "old". =/
Sun - MOVIE TIME!

and then, next weekend, there's a sushi party with stef and shirley!

still haven't watch the simpsons and i wanna watch SECRET again! woosh!!!

plus there's the bangkok trip, the taiwan trip...maybe japan if i got nice big bonus, genting if ZM gets thru (or we can just go, regardless! hahaha), and the year-end chalet!! woosh! i'm a busy nana!

anyway, just digress a bit. i received this ridiculous SMS at 2am on sat. i only have 1 thing to say.

and then, we had a bbq at MS today! very very tiring but totally fun! we played uno 终极密码. haha...all thanks to xuan's good idea! we also finally launched our podcast which we ONLY recorded yesterday. can hear it on the MS blog lah, once xuan posts it up. wah...我们是厉害的！ haha...take 30mins to record, took me about 1+ hour to edit today. it's rather amateur coz we have limited (no) budget and no experience and limited skills lah. hopefully, we'll get better. still, hope it'll be enjoyable and fun for people to listen. haha...we had fun making it!!

不能说的。 秘密

终于发现如何写出中文字了！以前都回一个字一个字的拼，还蛮辛苦的。哈哈！

不用猜也应该看得出，我今天终于看了周董自导自演的电影 《〈不能说的。秘密〉〉。 也不想说太多，就让大家自己去看吧！只能说。。。好看！

其实，看完了这部戏，心里有点酸酸的。所以才会上网，想把自己的感想写在部落格上。怎么说才不会把“秘密”泄露出来呢？在看电影的当儿，就已经在想：“哇！如果这里没人，是自己一个再看这部戏的话，应该会哭死吧！” 是真的蛮感人的！好几次都是在忍着泪，眼睛好刺好刺，有种说不出的心酸。

有情人，真的能终成眷属吗？

Finally figured out how to type chinese words without searching for one word at a time. That was tough, and pretty dumb. But I'm smarter now. haha...

I just watched Secret, the movie directed by Jay Chou and starring him as well. Don't wanna say too much about it. Will let you catch it and judge it for yourself. All I can say is...GOOD!

Actually, after watching it, my heart just felt a bit tangy. That's why I'm blogging about it. While watching the movie, there were just moments when i felt that i'll probably be crying myself to death if i was watching this movie alone. it's quite touching! i had to hold back my tears a couple of time. my eyes just felt pricky and my heart just went numb.

so i asked, "will love really come one full circle for all lovers?"

I don't know if anybody noticed, but I haven't been talking much about a certain topic.

I may have mentioned, but I haven't talked about it.

It's Campus Superstar 2. (What did you think it was? CHEH!)

Actually, I don't really have much to say about it. Because I'm gonna say the same thing I said for PSS1, PSS2 and CSS all over again. It's not only a competition. It's a television show.

And therefore I have no expectations left of it. My sole purpose of even going for such things is to support friends. My sole reason for voting is only to support, whether anybody thinks they deserve it or not. Blind, unreserved support. 1 vote is also a show of my support (though i've never voted ONLY once for anybody.)

And so, my phone bill will be one letter I'm avoiding again this month. haha

Well, I don't want to fall into the trap of dropping names. In any case, good luck to all those still in the game. And those who aren't, study hard and work hard. Never forget who you are and always remain grounded. There is no beginning and end to this. Life goes on, yeah? Work harder and strive harder.

I just also want to say this. Most of the time, we don't see the changes and improvements we make. I'm glad that I've seen big BIG improvements in each person that I've taught or guided. Some have gone from stopping every single phrase to completing the entire song without stopping. Some have gone from being unable to count beats to actually counting beats correctly. Some have started off being unable to reach certain notes and now not even caring if they can. Some have had no confidence in themselves, and can now go on stage or stand in front of other people and sing and dance.

I think every little step is an achievement for yourselves.

We must acknowledge it, and believe that we can still do better, no matter the outcome.

i'm bored, so i shall blog.

ok. first things first, let me clarify that it is NOT that i do not have anything to do at work. i just don't feel like doing it...yet.

procrastination is my best friend, though not my favourite one.

and i have been procrastinating most of half of the week...and enjoying it.

Oh, and that cheque that hasn't cleared...yet. I guess it means i only have whatever i have in the bank to tide me through the weekend. WHICH, by the way, isn't enough. Dammit!

National Day is just next week! How are you all celebrating? Me? I'm working on National Day. boohoo? noo...not really. at least i get to go see NDP, provided i don't get thrown things to do while it goes on. i got my NDP pass already!! WOOT~~!! yay! i get to go to NDP! i get to go to NDP!

then, i have 10th off! and guess what? PAY DAY IS ON MY OFF DAY!!! WAHAHAHAHA~~~!!!

and then, it's the weekend...MORE TIME TO SHOP!!! (provided i don't have to go MS...=p)

but seriously, i need to start proper savings. i know i've said it for ages, but this month is a learning lesson. i learnt that i can go out of control and spend unreservedly.

i'm just too nice and generous when it comes to money. i don't usually splurge on myself ONLY. i think my sis reaped the most out of my generosity loh. let me list ah:

• all the taxi-fares that she doesn't have to pay when we cab (especially when it's ALL the f**king way back to woodlands!).
• a*mei tix - $160
• bkk trip - $400+
• miscellaneous things which i pay for and i can't remember off my head now. (can you rem?)

wah...THAT'S WHY I CAN'T SAVE MONEY LAH!!!

oh! a*mei's new album is on sale today!!! STAR!!! i must buy it!!! i will buy it later!!! think i have been listening to 如果你也听说 at least 100 times already. it's on loop loh...and the ONLY song on loop. haha. den i sent it to my colleague and now she has it on loop too! wahahaha...

argh...i think i better finish some work or else i can tell my half day off "bye bye~~!". crap!

ok, i need a favour. well, not really a favour, but i need help/comments/ideas for the following:

1. A new camera-less phone with good functions.

I'm thinking of getting a new phone. A camera-less one to bring to work. Something that has more functions than your basic camera-less phones. Something good for work, that won't hang easily, like a PDA phone but not quite. And something nicer than this junk that I have. Anyone knows of any such miracle phones?

2. Anybody wants to go Bangkok???

Going over the weekends, possibly Oct 6-9 (sat-tues). Airfare plus accomd is about $400+. Sorry ah, I only take Thai Airways or SQ, and stay Asia Hotel. If anybody wants to go, pls let me know by 10th Aug coz i am gonna book tics already.

On another note:

I wanna go to the Fireworks Festival...i mean nicely seated, not squeezing in the crowd. I wonder if "///" can fix me up with tickets? hmm...shall I be thick-skinned and ask? hee
